IB Insurance, Bonding & References package

The insurance, bonding and references tab — assembled right — $190, 2 business days.

We prepare the pass/fail tab — the one that eliminates bids on technicalities: the exact insurance requirement table to send your agent (limits, endorsements, additional-insured and cancellation wording), the bond request package for your surety where one is required, agency reference forms completed from your facts, and the tab assembled in the solicitation’s order. $190 flat, 2 business days.

$190 flat · 2 business days · written to your solicitation — never a template dump.

Typical trades: All trades — this tab exists in nearly every public solicitation · Last updated: October 2026

IB–01 What's in the document

What your Insurance, Bonding & References package will contain.

Built from the requirements in your solicitation — the structure below is what evaluators expect to find and score.

Insurance requirement table
Every coverage, limit and endorsement the solicitation requires, extracted into one table your insurance agent can act on in a single email — including the additional-insured and notice-of-cancellation wording agencies reject COIs over.
COI checklist
What the returned certificate must show, checked against the solicitation — certificate holder name and address exactly as specified, project description line, endorsement attachments.
Bond request package
Where a bid, performance or payment bond applies: the request summary for your surety or agent (obligee, amounts, form references) and the forms flagged for signature and notarization. We prepare the paperwork; the bond itself comes from your surety.
References, formatted
Your references presented on the agency’s own form where one exists (or cleanly where not): comparable scope first, current contact info, the contract facts evaluators verify.
Forms pass
The administrative forms in this tab (non-collusion, debarment, W-9 and similar) filled from the facts you give us, with signature and notary points flagged — you sign, we never sign for you.
IB–02 What we need from you

Four things, one email.

  • The solicitation (insurance/bond requirements and any agency forms)
  • Your current insurance agent’s email (we write the instructions; you forward them)
  • Three to five past or current contracts for references (name, scope, dates, contact)
  • Company facts for the forms (legal name, EIN, signatory) — sent once, used across the tab

Where this section kills bids.

Critical catches · Insurance, Bonding & References package

The mistakes evaluators punish.

  1. A COI that almost complies. Wrong certificate-holder wording, a missing additional-insured endorsement, limits per occurrence where aggregate was required — agencies reject bids over certificate details every season. The requirement table exists so your agent gets it right the first time.
  2. References that can’t be reached. A disconnected phone number on a reference form is a silent zero. We format what you give us and flag any reference whose contact info looks stale so you can refresh it before submission.
  3. Notarization discovered at 4 p.m. on due day. We flag every signature and notary point in the tab the day we deliver — two business days of margin is exactly what this $190 buys.
R–07 Straight answers

Insurance, Bonding & References package: short answers.

Do you provide the insurance or the bond?

No — and be wary of anyone who says yes. Coverage comes from your insurer, bonds from your surety. What we do is translate the solicitation’s requirements into exact instructions for them and assemble the returned documents into a compliant tab.

Our insurance doesn’t meet the required limits. What then?

We tell you immediately — before you pay for anything else on the bid. Raising limits is usually a quick endorsement; when it isn’t, better to know while the go/no-go decision is still cheap.

Can you contact our references or our agent directly?

We stay in writing and we stay behind you: we prepare what you forward. Agencies and references hear from you, not from a third party — that protects both your relationships and the bid.

Why is this the cheapest section?

It is assembly and precision rather than narrative writing — fewer pages, but the ones where a detail error eliminates the whole bid. Two business days, $190, and the tab stops being the thing you do at midnight.
