Terms, in plain English.
The whole agreement on one page — how we scope work, how you pay, and exactly what happens if we miss a deadline. If anything here is unclear, ask before you order.

1What we do
CompliantBid is a small, distributed team that writes RFP and proposal responses for U.S. service businesses. Every engagement is defined by a written scope and a fixed price that you approve before any work begins. We work over email; you always deal with a person, not a queue.
2Scope of work
Before we start, we send you a written scope: what's included, the fixed price, and the delivery window. That document is the agreement. If it isn't in the scope, it isn't part of the job unless you approve it in writing.
3Payment & milestones
- Compliance Matrix + Response Plan: a single fixed fee, due when you approve the quote.
- Full Proposal Draft: 50% due when you approve the quote, and 50% due on delivery. Larger proposals may include additional milestones between kickoff and delivery, listed in your scope.
All prices are in U.S. dollars. ACH bank transfer is preferred for larger amounts; card is accepted anytime. You receive a receipt for every payment, and payments run through a channel that keeps a clean record on both sides.
4Turnaround & delivery
Each order carries a delivery window stated in writing before you pay — typically 48–72 hours for a compliance matrix, and a timeline set to your submission deadline for a full proposal, unless your scope says otherwise. Work is delivered as an editable file you own once paid in full.
5Refund policy
If we miss the delivery deadline we set, you get a full refund. No forms, no negotiation. The deadline that counts is the one written in your scope. This is the core of how we work: we'd rather return the fee than keep money for work that arrived late.
A refund under this policy is about delivery and deadlines, not results. We don't refund based on whether you win the award — that depends on price, past performance, competition, and factors outside our control. Once work is delivered on time and within scope, the fee is earned; dissatisfaction with on-time work is handled through revisions (below), not refunds.
6Revisions
Full proposals include revisions within the agreed scope, up to your submission deadline. A revision means refining what we delivered within the original scope — not adding new requirements. Requests should reach us within a reasonable window before your deadline so we can turn them around in time.
7Out-of-scope work
Anything beyond the approved scope — a new section, an added attachment, a requirement the agency introduces after we start — is billed at a flat $95 per request, quoted and approved by you before we do it. You will never see an out-of-scope charge you didn't agree to.
8What we don't do
Some work sits outside what we can responsibly take on. We do not:
- Take federal work requiring a security or facility clearance;
- Hold, issue, or stand in for certifications on your behalf;
- Provide legal advice or interpret contracts;
- Submit a bid for you or act as your authorized representative.
9Your work is yours
On full payment, you own the deliverables outright and may use, edit, and submit them as you see fit. We keep our internal templates and checklists; the writing we produce for you is yours. Until full payment, the work remains ours.
10Confidentiality
We treat your solicitations, pricing, and business information as confidential and use them only to do your work. We don't publish your materials as samples without your written permission.
11Limitation of liability
We deliver written work to a professional standard. We do not guarantee any specific outcome — award, ranking, or evaluation score — because those depend on factors outside our control. Our total liability under any engagement is limited to the amount you paid us for the deliverable in question.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in that jurisdiction.
